Two questions: are these sizes really 51mm and 38mm?
(because converting 2" and 1 1/2" results in these numbers
but the initial measuring is less accurate)
and (email me if you want) does Stefan have a few more of these ;-))

Pity. Within my sample only the leg irons have that strong springs
that I barely (if at all) can open them by pulling on the key.

I could check tonight, using a paper clip probing
how far the threads continue inside the key.

Cehck out the link below, second photo second cuff
from left. You notice a ledge or recessed part.
That's where the key touches when pulling the bolt back.

Have you thought of putting a spacer or some washers
on your key? Just little enough so the key still
catches on the bold reliably.
