I inherited some old handcuffs. One handcuff is labeled "MANUFACTURED BY THE MATTATUCK M'F'G. CO. WATERBURY.CONN.U.S.A." and "PAT'D NOV.12.01. The other handcuff is labeled "THE MALTBY" and "PAT'D NOV.12.01". They still have 99% of the nickel. They are in a leather case labeled ""THE MALTBY"" "DETECTIVE". They look just like the Mattatuck handcuffs posted on this website except the lettering described above. I would appreciate any information anyone can provide on these handcuffss.
