Hi Jack:
Your Iron Claw is not a first model. It is the third model. The first model has exposed ratchet teeth, and the words "The Iron Claw" is a little smaller, as is the serial number. (Mine is 225). The second model has a thin sheet metal wraping around the ratchet teeth to cover them. (Mine is serial 7456). The third model is like yours. The markings on the rear are identical on all 3 models.
