I recently bought a pair of Tower Double Lock cuffs in "fair" condition that are marked "U.S.M.C. 1905" VERY neatly stamped, next to the hinge. It appears that this stamping is very old, possibly factory stamped on order before being assembled from the close proximity to the hinge.
These would be vintage "Boxer Rebellion" Marine Corps items if authentic. Do any collectors know anything about the history of any such military handcuffs and what their (enhanced) value, if any, might be?
