The Maltby cuffs are very unique because they have a trigger or lever mechanism that closes them automatically when the lever is brought up to the wrist. They have about the most complicated mechanism of any cuff that you can run into. There were flat key and round key versions. Pictures of several Maltby cuffs can be found in the gallery.
