Well Lynne, to each thier own, but I have come to realise that most people are collectors of something. Although I haven't picked up any restraints in the last little while, I am still interested enough to check this board to see what the trends are and to read what fellow collectors have to say. I couldn't really do that a decade ago.
As for no laws supporting the use of handcuffs, there all sorts of laws out there that could be of more use...if they were ENFORCED. Experience has taught me that a majority of law breakers would cause an enormous amount of damage and injury if we didn't have the handcuffs to retard thier movements. If you are so concerned about the plight of the handcuffed, keep in mind that the devices of today are designed with milksop whiners in mind, no rough edges, adjustable to prevent excessive restriction on blood vessels and bruising, lightweight so as to not tire thier arm muscles, generous space between bracelets so as to allow SOME movement. They far far from the torture devices civil liberty grousers paint them out to be.
So Lynne, what do you collect?
