A lot of people into the "BDSM" scene are happier with the leather wrist cuffs that strap on to a person's wrist size with a little buckle, like a leather belt buckle. They are much wider and hold the wrist better and far more comfortably for longer play than real thin edged, easily painful Handcuffs. The leather restraint bands have a chain running between the two cuffs. These are so much wider and comfortabe that people can, "Play," much more comfortably and much longer in them, while still knowing they are very much in bondage. There has to be trust and play should be consenual, and the real handcuffs aren't great, especialy the first time together with restraints. I see brand new black leather cuff pairs with chrome chains for $20. -$30 regularly on ebay.
