I have a old set of prison hand cuffs and leg irons. They were found at the old Hartford State Jail in CT. built in 1875. I was told they were used to transport prisoners from the 17th. century Old Newgate Prison in Granby CT. I would like to find out the exact age and value but don't know where to start. Any help on this would be appreciated.
