first of all, as you can imagine I'm rather happy to read that both of my Stotz' are original :-).
But you seem to mix up the two handcuffs concerning the horse picture. The mark is on the Stotz with the bullet shaped notches. This is the one you think is made by Barmen Muhlenfeld, isn't it?
In the gallery is written that the original Stotz is from the late 1800s. But I do not think that either of my Stotz' is so old. You wrote that my handcuffs are probably made before 1950. Considering their excellent condition I would guess that they were made between WW I and WW II. Does anybody know how long Barmen Muhlenfeld manufactured Stotz handcuffs and what other companies also made this model and when?
