Have been looking at some old paperwork and came across a letter from Ray McKee who sent me a photocopy of a pair of handcuffs he was looking for. They are exactly the same as the ones you have listed as Unknown 19th Century Handcuffs 1880's? USA?
The name given to them was THE LUNA HANDCUFF. Sorry I do not know where the name came from neither do I know who, when or where they originated from. Perhaps now you have a name other leads may follow.
