the cuffs in question are out of production since about 1989; they were made by convict labor in the prison of Brandenburg. I still have a few of them and sell them for $49 plus postage.
Besides this I think that these cuffs should be referred to as "Second model East German swing through handcuffs", as they have absolutely nothing to do with the "Deutsche Polizei" handcuff that in the past was made by the August Schwarz company in Berlin and are still being made by the Heinrich Hagge company near Hamburg.
