Dear Joe, Mike and Stan
Ref the Hancock handcuff, I do have a pair in my collection that I bought/traded about 12 years ago from a collector in the US. They are actually on loan at the moment but will get them back in May, they are made from hexagonal steel (6 sided) and take a simple single bitted key. The keyhole is just under where the bow protrudes. Am pretty certain my pair is marked HANDCOCK MFG CO. (not HANCOCK) but will send photo and confirm this when they are returned.
