Starting a Handcuff collection

I am ready to start a handcuff collection an would like some advise in doing so. Will I have problems in buying them and what are the cuffs kind to collect.

I live in the Cleveland, Oh area and would like to e-mail someone in this area who is a collector. Were do you go to do your purchasing? Is it better to buy my mail? What should I know before I start to purchase.
Are there organizations for collectors?

I written Joe Lauher and Alex Nichols about this. They were very helpfull. Alex told me about a few books I should obtain. Thanks Joe and Alex.
