Has anyone heard of an Escape Artist named Excello?

Recently I purchased an old poster featuring an
escape artist by the name of Excello. The poster was
printed in the state of Kentucky, perhaps between about
1910 and 1920.

I have never heard of Excello. Does anyone know anything
about him?
